Documentary Spotlight: Tatau, la culture d'un art

Not just a design. Polynesian tattoo is an ancient art form that carries deep cultural roots with every symbol. When the missionaries arrived to Polynesian, many cultural activities were banned. Tattoo was amongst them. Manu Farrarons is one of the handful of artist and culture keepers that have helped to revive Polynesian Tattoo to the modern day. Manu spent years studying, researching and uncovering the meaning behind many of the traditional symbols with historians and Polynesians in Tahiti and Hawaii.
